Training, safety and site access
Dan's training includes confined-space working, Water Jetting Association (WJA) water-jetting training, asbestos awareness and construction-site health and safety. ClearFlow Drains works at domestic properties, commercial premises and live construction sites, subject to the requirements of the job.
- Confined-space working: trained in confined-space working and the use of relevant chamber-entry equipment for larger chambers. Where entry is necessary, the job must be assessed and the appropriate trained team, entry equipment, safe working procedures and rescue arrangements put in place before entry.
- Water Jetting Association (WJA) training: water-jetting safety training for working with high-pressure equipment. Jetting work must remain within the operative's training and competence.
- Asbestos awareness: trained to recognise potential asbestos risks and avoid disturbance, with suspected materials or concerns raised before work proceeds.
- Construction-site safety and CSCS requirements: relevant training and card requirements are checked against each project's needs, alongside site-specific induction, PPE, safe working procedures and permits where applicable.
